Speaker of the Arab Parliament expressed his strong disapproval and rejection of the provocative statements against the President of an Arab country enjoying full sovereignty rights particularly that it was not proved he committed the alleged crimes.

The European Union statement, the top Arab legislator remarked, coincided with the successful efforts of President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir to sponsor the peace agreement between belligerent parties of South Sudan which was recently signed in Khartoum on July 6.

The President of the Arab Parliament called on the European Union to reconsider its positions that raise indignation of the Arab states and peoples and contradict the very principles and purposes of the European Neighborhood Policy which neither guarantees security nor peace in the region nor stability in international relations.

He urged the European Union to adhere to the principle of partnership that brings together the Arab and European countries in their joint strategic issues and care for the volume of Arab-European economic investments and relations which serve to strengthen ties between the Arab and European regions.
