Khartoum , Oct 9 (Kem) –Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan ,Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdouk and entourage returned here Late Tuesday from a Gulf tour which included Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
During the three-day tour , heads of military and civilian rule held talks in Riyadh , first-leg of their first visit together abroad , with Saudi Monarch king Salman Abdul Aziz and later in Abu Dhabi with UAE Crown Prince Mohamed Ben Zayed means of promoting bilateral economic and financial ties.
In an airport press conference , member of the accompanying delegation and Foreign Minister Asmaa Mohamed Abdalla described the tour as successful by opening new vistas of cooperation between Sudan and the two Gulf Arabian states , hoping that the visits would herald much benefit to the country and push Sudan forward.
Talks in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi discussed a mechanism for cooperation and follow-up and that in the course of the tour , Sudanese ministers of Finance and Trade discussed with Gulf businessmen bolstering exchange and investment in Sudan , the official added.
They were received on arrival here by Sovereign Council member and Commander of the Rapid Support Forces General Hmedditi and Information Minister Faisal Mohamed Salih.🔥0 Views
