The head of the General Federation of Sudanese Employers Saud Al Brair stressed the importance and strategy of economic and trade relations with the Republic of Tunisian.
He said in a meeting on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisian in Khartoum Al Hashemi Ajili that there are many advantages and common factors contributing to the promotion of cooperation relations between the business sectors of the two countries in the fields of investment and commercial activity in the presence of active mechanisms represented in the Joint Businessmen Council.
He pointed out the importance of harnessing Tunisian expertise and technology and resources in Sudan to establish partnerships that benefit the two countries.
He referred to the importance of holding specialized joint meetings between businessmen of both countries in the two countries especially in the sectors of medicine, meat, vegetables, fruit and infrastructure.
In the context, the Ambassador Al Hashemi discussed during the meeting, which was held in the presence of the General Director of the Employers’ Union Mr. Abdel Salam Mohamed El Kheir and the Tunisian Deputy Ambassador El Assad El Geridi the importance of joint work and the role of the private sector in developing economic and trade cooperation relations between the two countries.
He called on Sudanese businessmen to participate in the agro-industrial and trade fair, which will be held on the sidelines of the fifth session of the meetings of the Joint Business Council and the Sudanese-Tunisian Economic Forum to convening in the first quarter of 2019.
