The National Mechanism Abroad Sudanese Nationals Protection Wednesday held its first meeting for the year 2019 at the premises of the Sudanese Expatriates Affairs Authority, headed by the Secretary General of the authority, Ambassador Isam Mutwalli.
The meeting discussed new bases, regulations and frameworks on the Sudanese nationals’ presence abroad under the new immigration changes that occurred in the labor market, besides ways of strengthening the coordination between the circles concerned with the immigration issues.
The meeting also reviewed samples of the urgent cases of a number of Sudanese nationals who are stranded abroad in a number of countries and the possibility of appointing lawyers in countries of Sudanese expatriates’ density to see these issues.
Meanwhile, the meeting underscored the importance of reactivating the Sudanese entities, associations and societies abroad to communicate with the mechanism and to provide it with urgent information through the follow up committee of the National Mechanism Abroad Sudanese Nationals Protection.
The meeting further gave a directive for preparing a report on the accomplishments realized in the past period, in addition to formulating an action plan for the next year.
